Realme C83 5G arrives with a 7,000 mAh battery and a 144Hz display

Realme has unveiled a new phone in its C-series, the Realme C83 5G, featuring a large 7,000 mAh battery and a display with a refresh rate up to 144Hz. The device is positioned as an affordable 5G smartphone that emphasises battery life and a smoother visual experience. Reported by GSMArena on Saturday local time, the Realme C83 5G is equipped with a 6.8-inch LCD display (17.3 cm) with HD+ resolution (1570 x 720 pixels). In terms of performance, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded using a microSD card up to 2TB. One of the device’s main features is a 7,000 mAh battery that supports 15W charging. In terms of durability, the device comes with IP64 certification for protection against dust and splashes of water and MIL-STD-810H drop resistance. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, as well as 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C support. The smartphone is available in two colour options, Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green. The 4GB/128GB variant is priced at ₹14,499 or around Rp2.7 million. Meanwhile, the 6GB/128GB version is marketed at ₹17,499 or around Rp3.2 million.
