Realme 16T to Feature 50 MP Camera Sensor and Selfie Mirror
Realme’s 16T smartphone, which is scheduled to launch in India on 22 May 2026, will be equipped with a Sony 50 MP camera and a range of imaging features, including Selfie Mirror, according to the latest information confirmed by the company.
According to Gizmochina’s report on Monday 18 May, the Realme 16T 5G will be fitted with a Sony IMX852 50 MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture, autofocus support, and the LumaColor Engine.
The company says this setup is designed to improve portrait sharpness, texture detail, and the colour accuracy of everyday photography.
The Realme 16T’s camera system also includes RAW HDR processing and white balance adjustment to produce highlights, shadows, and portraits that look natural.
The AI Portrait Glow feature is introduced to enhance portrait quality taken in low-light conditions through automated lighting optimisation and several lighting effects.
The phone will have a Selfie Mirror feature on the rear that allows users to see the selfie position when using the rear camera.
The feature also supports AI Popout Collage to generate photo effects and AI StyleMe tools such as AI Profile Portrait and AI Football Star.
Additionally, there is AI Instant Clip which can automatically turn photos and videos into short cinematic clips for sharing on social media within seconds.
The device will be powered by an 8,000mAh battery with 45W charging and bypass charging support.
Reportedly, the phone will offer dust, water, and shock resistance and will be available in Aurora Green, Starlight Red, and Starlight Black colours.
