Realme 16T launched with a slim body under 9mm and an 8000mAh battery
Realme has finally unveiled the realme 16T with a slim body under 9 millimetres while still accommodating a large 8000 mAh battery. The battery is claimed to last up to three days on a single charge, with fast charging support via a 45W cable. Delving into the smartphone’s specifications, citing Gizmochina on Friday (22 May), the realme 16T features a 6.8-inch LCD display, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. In terms of the processor, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Its performance is supported by RAM LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 storage. A vapour chamber cooling system covering an area of 5300 mm² is included to keep temperatures in check. Moving to camera specifications, the realme 16T uses a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor along with a 2MP secondary sensor. There is also a 16MP front camera. One unusual addition is a ‘Selfie Mirror’ feature on the back panel, allowing users to view themselves when using the rear camera for selfies. The phone runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. In terms of durability, Realme includes IP69 for water and dust resistance and military-grade drop protection. The Realme 16T is priced at ₹29,999 with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM.
