The English-language edition of the book *Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara*, entitled *Taste of Nusantara: 80 Bhayangkara Menu for Indonesia's Free Nutritious Meals Program*, was officially launched in the United States on Tuesday, 18 February 2026.

The book was presented by Dirgayuza Setiawan, Special Assistant to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, in Washington DC as part of President Prabowo Subianto's cultural diplomacy efforts, which foreground culture, social welfare, and the development of Indonesia's human resources on the global stage.

The book was co-authored by Dirgayuza Setiawan, Special Assistant to the President for Communications and Policy Analysis, and Deputy National Police Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo. On the sidelines of the President's visit to the United States, Dirgayuza Setiawan personally handed over the book at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia to the United States. The presentation was received by Dwisuryo Indroyono Soesilo, Indonesia's Ambassador to the United States.

The presence of *Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara* in Washington DC completes a series of Indonesian cultural diplomacy initiatives that have previously attracted coverage from both national and international media.

In January 2026, Dirgayuza Setiawan presented the book, co-authored with Deputy National Police Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, to Desra Percaya, Indonesia's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, in London on 21 January 2026.

Shortly afterwards, the book was introduced at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday 22 January, as part of Indonesia's diplomacy showcase.

A number of media outlets assessed the book's presence in Davos as a fresh approach to Indonesian diplomacy, combining strategic policy, culture, and social programmes in a single narrative readily accessible to the global community.

Dirgayuza Setiawan affirmed that the book has now evolved into an instrument of state diplomacy.

"The book *Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara* has now become part of Indonesia's cultural diplomacy, introducing our cultural wisdom through the most monumental programme of President Prabowo's administration," said Dirgayuza.

Meanwhile, Deputy National Police Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo expressed his pride that the book he co-authored with Dirgayuza Setiawan has reached various corners of the world.

"In the midst of the President's state visit, the *Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara* book that we co-authored has been able to appear in strategic locations. After being introduced at the Indonesian Embassy in London, then at the prestigious WEF in Davos, Switzerland, the English-language edition is now accessible in Washington DC, United States. We hope this book will serve as a medium for Indonesian diplomacy, whilst further introducing Nusantara gastronomy and culinary diversity, as well as the President's Asta Cita programme, to the world," said Dedi.
