Rapped in Blueray Case, Customs Director-General Djaka Budhi Utama Has Rp5.7 Billion in Assets
Customs and Excise Director-General Djaka Budhi Utama is alleged to have received bribes totaling SG$213,600 in a single month in a case involving bribes and facilitation payments from Blueray Cargo boss John Field. Prosecutors disclosed this during a court hearing at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor) on Wednesday (20 May). The testimony concerned the Head of the Customs Intelligence Section I, Directorate of Enforcement and Investigation, DJBC, Orlando Hamonangan. Separately, Budi Prasetiyo, the Deputy for Public Relations and Extension at Customs, said DJBC respects the legal process that is alleged to involve Djaka as Director-General. He noted that because the case has entered the trial stage, the department will respect and safeguard the independence of the judiciary. Based on the LHKPN reported as of 26 February 2026 / Periodic-2025, Djaka is worth Rp5,702,745,810 (Rp5.7 billion). The report lists land and buildings: a plot of land and a building valued at Rp3,888,760,000. Specifically, it shows a 2,330 m2 plot in South Tangerang and a land-and-building plot of 382 m2/200 m2 in Bogor Regency, valued at Rp1,284,200,000. In terms of transport and machinery, the LHKPN shows a single 2021 Toyota Innova, valued at Rp250,000,000 and purchased with personal funds. Djaka also reported cash and cash equivalents of Rp1,191,785,810 and other assets of Rp442,200,000. He also has liabilities of Rp70,000,000. The LHKPN does not record any other movable assets or securities.
