Rapid Disbursement: 13th Month Salary for Pensioners Disbursed Within 6 Hours
PT TASPEN (Persero) has completed the distribution of the 2026 13th-month salary to retired Civil Servants (ASN). This disbursement was carried out in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 9 of 2026 regarding the provision of Holiday Allowances (THR) and 13th-month salaries for state officials, pensioners, and allowance recipients for the year 2026.
The payment was channelled through 46 of TASPEN’s payment partners across Indonesia, covering a total of 3.25 million participants. The administration of President Prabowo Subianto has ensured that pension payments and additional entitlements for Civil Servants are distributed punctually and in full. To ensure a smooth process, TASPEN conducted spot checks at branch offices nationwide, including specific oversight in Batam and Makassar by the Board of Directors and Commissioners.
The 2026 implementation recorded an increase compared to the previous year in terms of the number of beneficiaries, the total value of benefits, and the speed of distribution. The number of beneficiaries rose from 3.16 million in the previous year to 3.25 million. In terms of value, the total payment increased by approximately Rp400 billion, rising from Rp10.43 trillion in 2025 to Rp10.83 trillion in 2026. Regarding efficiency, 99.14% of the benefits were received by participants on the first day of distribution, an improvement from 96% the previous year.
Pensioners are not required to submit special applications or authentication to receive the 2026 13th-month salary, although monthly routine authentication remains mandatory. Payments are based on pension data from May 2026. The President Commissioner of PT TASPEN (Persero), Fary Djemi Franscis, expressed appreciation for the system’s reliability, noting that funds were disbursed to pensioners within just 6 hours of being transferred from the Ministry of Finance.
Fary emphasised that President Prabowo Subianto’s directive was to ensure timely delivery to meet the needs of pensioners’ families. He stressed that the 13th-month salary must be distributed accurately, on target, and without deductions. He specifically warned that even if pensioners have existing loans with payment partners, the 13th-month salary must not be deducted by those partners. Any such unauthorised deductions should be reported immediately to TASPEN.
Key provisions for the 2026 13th-month salary include:
The amount is based on income components paid in May 2026, including allowances as per regulations.
The salary is exempt from contribution deductions, pension credit deductions, and income tax, as these are covered by the government.
For those with multiple beneficiary statuses, only one payment is made, based on the highest amount.
For those receiving both a pension and widow/widower allowances, both entitlements will be paid.
For Civil Servants retiring from 1 June 2026 onwards, the 13th-month salary will be processed by their last place of employment.
In line with President Prabowo Subianto’s ‘Asta Cita’ mission to improve public welfare and governance, TASPEN remains committed to reliable service. TASPEN also advises participants to remain vigilant against fraud attempts and reminds them that all TASPEN services are provided free of charge.
