Raphael Anggoman Sparks Enthusiasm for Indonesia's Electric Karting Development

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Young Indonesian racer Raphael Anggoman has opened new hope for the development of electric go-karting in the country after winning the Group D Senior category at the SWS International E-Finals 2026 in Italy.

“Raphael’s victory in the Group D Senior category Final is a source of pride for us and demonstrates that Indonesian drivers possess the ability to compete at an international level,” said Michael Jorgy, Founder of Kart.inc, in an official statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

“We hope this experience and positive result serve as the beginning of even greater achievements,” he added.

Raphael competed at the SWS International E-Finals 2026 at the Rush Speed Arena, Alcamo, Sicily, Italy, from 11-13 June.

He earned the opportunity to compete in Italy after catching attention during the Kart.inc Pro League Season 1, where he secured the Rookie of the Season title and finished as the competition runner-up.

Indonesia was also represented by Gerrard Carlton, who is the Junior Championship winner of the inaugural Kart.inc Pro League season.

According to Michael, the experiences of Raphael and Gerrard in Italy serve as an incentive for other young talents to view electric go-karting as a gateway to the more competitive world of racing.
