Raphael Anggoman Sparks Enthusiasm for Indonesia's Electric Karting Development
Young Indonesian racer Raphael Anggoman has opened new hope for the development of electric karting in the country after winning the Senior category D Final at the SWS International E-Finals 2026 in Italy. “Raphael’s victory in the Senior Group D Final is a source of pride for us and shows that Indonesian racers have the ability to compete at the international level,” said Kart.inc Founder Michael Jorgy in an official statement in Jakarta on Tuesday. “We hope this experience and positive result will be the beginning of even greater achievements,” he said. Raphael competed in the SWS International E-Finals 2026 at the Rush Speed Arena in Alcamo, Sicily, Italy, from 11 to 13 June. He earned the opportunity to race in Italy after capturing attention in the Kart.inc Pro League Season 1, where he claimed the Rookie of the Season title and became the competition’s runner-up. Indonesia was also represented by Gerrard Carlton, who was the champion of the inaugural Junior Championship of the Kart.inc Pro League. According to Michael, the experience of Raphael and Gerrard in Italy serves as a boost for other young talents to see electric karting as an entry point into a more competitive racing world.
