Ramos arrives in Saudi Arabia

DUBAI (Reuter): President Fidel Ramos of the Philippines
arrived in Jeddah yesterday on a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia
during which he is expected to have talks with King Fahd.

The official Saudi Press Agency said Ramos was received at
Jeddah airport by Prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz, the minister of
defense.

A member of the Filipino delegation told Reuters by telephone
from Jeddah that Ramos's talks with Saudi officials were expected
to cover trade, labor and bilateral relations.

He added the King is expected to receive Ramos during the
visit.
