Ramayana opens new store
JAKARTA (JP): Publicly-listed PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, the owner and operator of Ramayana department stores, opened yesterday its 58th outlet.
The company said the new Denpasar (Bali ) store occupies 13,000 square meters of floor space in a mall, and is the second Ramayana outlet in Bali.
The company said the store would help the company reach its targeted sales amount of Rp 1.12 trillion (US$459.18 million) this year from Rp 856.5 billion last year.
Ramayana, a retail chain for the middle-to-lower market segment, has 39 stores in the greater Jakarta area. The remaining 19 stores are located in major cities throughout the country, including Bandung, Semarang, Malang, Surabaya, and Batam. (das)
