Ramadhan Moment: 1,700 Orphans Receive Aid from Mustadhafin Fund Foundation
As many as 1,700 orphans and underprivileged children received aid and iftar meals from the Mustadhafin Fund Foundation during Ramadhan. This year, the foundation distributed support to orphaned and disadvantaged children across five cities: Jakarta, Banjar Negara, Makassar, South Sumatra, and Balikpapan.
“This Ramadhan, praise be to God, the Mustadhafin Fund Foundation is once again providing aid to 1,700 orphans and underprivileged children,” said foundation founder Naufal Ali at the Prajurit Hall, AURI Complex, Jakarta, on the evening of Sunday, 1 March 2026.
Naufal expressed gratitude to all parties and donors who had contributed to the success of the charitable initiative for orphans and the underprivileged. Looking forward, the foundation hopes to assist even more orphaned and disadvantaged children.
He explained that typically the foundation’s aid for orphans and the underprivileged is confined to the Greater Jakarta area, but this Ramadhan they selected five cities across various regions of Indonesia due to the significant number of orphans and disadvantaged children in need of support.
“In these five cities, orphaned and underprivileged children receive financial aid, iftar meal provisions, and goodie bags,” he stated.
Naufal also called upon the wealthy to pay attention to and support orphans and disadvantaged children in their respective cities. He added that the Mustadhafin Fund Foundation, in addition to providing aid to orphans and the underprivileged, also offers scholarship programmes, supports the sick, and engages in other social activities.
Going forward, the Mustadhafin Fund Foundation plans to expand its aid programme for orphans and underprivileged children, enabling the organisation to assist even greater numbers of vulnerable youth.
