JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – On the second day of the Ramadhan Jazz Festival (RJF) 2026, the atmosphere at the courtyard of Cut Meutia Mosque, Menteng, Central Jakarta, was observed to be relatively quiet on Saturday, 7 March 2026.

Based on Kompas.com’s observations at around 3:40 pm, there were no queues of spectators filling the festival area, which is the main venue of the event.

Nevertheless, security officers and organisers began to stand by near the entrances to greet visitors expected to arrive later in the evening.

First, the door at Jalan Cut Meutia, the mosque’s main gate with a green arch inscribed with “Masjid Cut Meutia”.

Second, the door at Jalan Taman Cut Mutiah, deemed the easiest access for visitors arriving by public transport, particularly from Gondangdia Station.

In front of the gate, road barriers (railing) have been installed to regulate the crowd flow.

The barriers also separate entry lanes for men (ikhwan) and women (akhwat), in line with the event’s concept that emphasises Islamic values.

Inside the mosque courtyard, preparations for the main stage were almost complete.

The large stage stood on one side of the courtyard, with a large LED screen that had been lit and displayed visuals themed “Harmony for the Nation”, which is this year’s Ramadhan Jazz Festival theme.

In addition to the main stage, several supporting facilities had also been prepared.

Some sponsor tents such as Mizone and Aqua booths were already visible around the festival area.

The organising committee also prepared a VIP lounge area with white sofas and crystal lamps intended for invited guests.

Meanwhile, the floor of the mosque courtyard looked slightly wet due to a light rain that had fallen earlier.
