Ramadan Synergy Brings Together Sports Competition and Donations for Local Residents

To mark the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H, MAIIN Gandaria hosted the ‘Ramadan Cup’ on 6–7 March 2026. The mini-soccer tournament, participated by various ‘Sobat MAIIN’ communities, served to strengthen social ties while promoting a healthy lifestyle in an atmosphere of blessing. Held at a premier property of MahaDasha Group, the event saw eight teams in the competition. Notably, registration was free, yet the tournament offered total prizes worth millions of rupiah.

M. Iqbal Prasetyo Utomo, Director of PT Triyasa Propertindo (Triyasa), which manages MAIIN Gandaria, said the event was more than a standard sports competition. ‘Ramadan Cup is a moment to reinforce fraternity and revive Ramadan values through positive activity. It is also our way of thanking Sobat MAIIN who routinely choose MAIIN Gandaria as a place to play,’ he said in a statement on Saturday, 7 March 2026.

Beyond the sporting aspect, MAIIN Gandaria leveraged the moment to give back. Concurrent with the tournament, the company distributed Ramadan food parcels to underprivileged residents living in the MAIIN Gandaria vicinity. The initiative is a tangible expression of the corporate social responsibility towards the surrounding community so they can observe Ramadan more serenely. (H-2)

The tournament drew 518 athletes from 28 clubs, including 25 partner clubs.
