Ramadan Social Programme Reaches More Than 1,500 Beneficiaries Across Five Cities
During Ramadan 1447 H, Lintasarta, as the AI Factory of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) Group, distributed various social programmes reaching more than 1,500 beneficiaries across five cities: Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Makassar, and Aceh.
The initiative, themed “Learning to Care & Action to Share”, encompasses support for worship facilities, empowerment of local micro-enterprises through the Warung Berkah programme, environmental education for orphaned children, and appreciation for Laskar—the term for Lintasarta employees who remained on duty maintaining company services during the Eidulfitri holiday period.
The initiative forms part of Lintasarta’s commitment to building a national digital ecosystem that not only drives technological innovation but also delivers tangible social impact for communities.
Hariyadi Ramelan, Director and Chief Financial Officer of Lintasarta, stated that Ramadan represents an important opportunity to strengthen empathy values whilst affirming the company’s social role amid rapid digital technology development. “As a driver of national digital transformation, we believe digital technology advancement must proceed alongside social responsibility. Through this Ramadan programme, Lintasarta seeks to deliver direct benefits to communities, ranging from worship facility support, local economic empowerment, environmental education, to assistance for Laskar members working to maintain reliable services,” Hariyadi said on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
He explained that one of the main programmes involves the revitalisation of prayer halls through the “Surau Kita Berdaya” programme, implemented jointly with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison. This programme focuses on improving community worship facilities affected by disasters across various Indonesian regions. Lintasarta distributed worship equipment to communities at Musaa Al-Ikhsan in Aceh Tamiang Regency, as part of efforts to assist recovery of post-disaster social and religious activities.
Through this initiative, improvements were also made to several prayer halls in other areas serving as community activity centres, including Masjid Abu Bakar As-Sidiq in Maros, South Sulawesi; Musala Mansaul Ridho 2 in Tuban, East Java; and Musala Al Ikhlas in Purwodadi, Central Java. “This revitalisation is expected to restore prayer halls’ function as centres of community social and religious life,” Hariyadi explained.
In the economic empowerment sphere, he continued, Lintasarta introduced the Warung Berkah Ramadan programme, involving micro-enterprise operators and local food stalls to provide free nutritious meals for disadvantaged communities and orphaned children. This programme reached 350 beneficiaries in Surabaya, 300 in Makassar, and 250 in Yogyakarta, whilst simultaneously helping stimulate economic activity among micro-enterprise operators in these cities.
He added that Lintasarta also organised the “Recycle & Reuse” environmental education programme encouraging orphaned children to learn waste processing and creative crafts using discarded materials. The activity, participated in by 45 orphaned children in Jakarta, aims to cultivate environmental awareness from an early age and instil ecological thinking habits among the younger generation.
Hariyadi emphasised that all activities form part of Lintasarta’s Ramadan Safari themed “Learning to Care & Action to Share”, launched in hybrid format in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar at the beginning of Ramadan 1447 H. The activity involved hundreds of employees and was attended by Lintasarta’s Board of Commissioners and Management. On the same occasion, Lintasarta also distributed alms and worship equipment to 140 orphaned children across various cities as an expression of company concern for surrounding communities.
Overall, Lintasarta’s Ramadan programme this year delivered tangible impact through support reaching more than 1,500 beneficiaries, assistance to 11 mosques and prayer halls, and empowerment of 4 local micro-enterprises across various regions.
“Through this initiative, Lintasarta affirms its role not only as an ICT solutions and integrated digital infrastructure provider but also as a strategic nation-building partner delivering digital transformation based on technology and artificial intelligence whilst contributing socially to communities,” Hariyadi concluded.
