Ramadan Safari 1447 H: PJT II Strengthens Organisational Solidarity and Social Commitment
In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah, Perum Jasa Tirta II (PJT II), the state-owned water resource management enterprise, has organised a series of Ramadan Safaris across four operational regions. This annual initiative extends beyond corporate tradition, serving as a strategic opportunity to strengthen internal consolidation, enhance synergy across departmental units, and affirm the BUMN’s commitment to social responsibility to the communities it serves.
Imam Santoso, Chief Executive Officer of Perum Jasa Tirta II, stressed that the Ramadan Safari carries significance far beyond ceremonial activity. According to him, the forum serves as a mechanism for strengthening coordination and alignment of all operational units in executing the company’s mandate.
He explained that organisational solidarity remains crucial in ensuring optimal and sustainable water resource management services.
“The Ramadan Safari is not merely a social gathering or charitable exercise. It is an opportunity to strengthen organisational solidarity, align all departmental units, and ensure that every task we undertake moves in unified direction, guaranteeing optimal, sustainable and accountable water management services that ultimately deliver the highest level of service to the public,” Imam stated.
Furthermore, Imam underscored that as a BUMN entrusted with water resource management responsibilities, Perum Jasa Tirta II bears obligations extending beyond operational and technical dimensions to encompass building harmonious social relationships with communities within its operational areas.
In the context of Ramadan, he noted, spiritual values provide the foundation for strengthening professional standards and corporate social responsibility.
“In the spirit of a blessed Ramadan, we wish to ensure that water resource management is conducted professionally, sustainably, and delivers tangible benefits to the nation,” he added.
The first Ramadan Safari took place at Masjid As Salam within the Perum Jasa Tirta II headquarters complex in Purwakarta, West Java, on Thursday 26 February in the afternoon. The event commenced at 16.00 WIB with a spiritual discourse deepening understanding of worship during the holy month, followed by the distribution of charitable assistance and communal breaking of the fast.
Subsequent Ramadan Safaris will be held at the Regional Unit III office in Subang on 3 March 2026. The event will include representatives from Regional Unit II (Karawang), Regional Unit III, Regional Unit V (Cirebon), as well as the Laboratory and Environment unit.
