Ramadan Not Diminishing Learning Interest as 150,703 People Enrol in Kemenag Training
Public interest in the Ministry of Religious Affairs training remains high during Ramadan. A total of 150,703 people were registered for training programmes on the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Pintar platform. Participants undertake trainings across operational and functional areas of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The programmes are open to civil servants as well as members of the public.
Based on Kemenag data, training in education is the most popular with 112,725 registrants, followed by administration training with 30,306 participants and religious training with 7,672 participants.
Head of the Centre for the Development of Human Resources for Education and Religious Affairs at Kemenag, Mastuki, praised the high level of enthusiasm among participants in the middle of Ramadan. “These 150,703 figures are not just statistics on paper. They reflect the dedication and commitment of our human resources to continue to grow. In the midst of Ramadan’s concentration, the spirit of learning does not waver. We see this as a concrete step towards a more professional bureaucracy,” Mastuki said on Friday, 6 March 2026.
Mastuki explained that access to learning via MOOC Pintar is designed so that the public can participate in training flexibly. Materials can be accessed at any time and from various locations.
According to Mastuki, the knowledge gained from training is a long-term investment in improving service to the public.
“Make this Ramadan moment not only a spiritual uplift but also an upgrade in competence to provide the best service to the people,” Mastuki said.
The MOOC Pintar platform is a digital innovation of Kemenag that allows the public to undertake training independently and online. The high number of registrants in March is expected to support improvements in public service quality in the education and religious sectors.
“For participants who have already registered, they are urged to access materials and complete quizzes and evaluations available on the platform to obtain an official competency certificate,” Mastuki said.
