Ramadan: Jasa Tirta II Strengthens Internal Consolidation
In observance of Ramadan 1447 AH, Perum Jasa Tirta II has officially launched its annual Ramadan Safari programme across four operational regions. Beyond serving as a routine annual agenda, the programme is positioned as a strategic opportunity to strengthen internal consolidation, enhance synergy between units, and reaffirm the company’s social commitment to the broader community.
“The Ramadan Safari is not merely a charitable activity, but also an endeavour to strengthen organisational solidarity and align the steps of all work units to ensure water management operates optimally, sustainably, and with accountability,” stated Imam Santoso, Managing Director of Perum Jasa Tirta II.
Imam Santoso emphasised that this year’s Ramadan Safari carries a deeper significance than ceremonial religious observance alone. The initiative serves as a crucial platform for all work units to align their approach in fulfilling public service functions.
The Managing Director explained that strong coordination between units is essential to maintain the company’s integrity. This effort aims to ensure water resource management continues to operate optimally, sustainably, and with accountability under closer and more transparent coordination.
The inaugural Ramadan Safari was held at As Salam Mosque, Perum Jasa Tirta II’s central office in Purwakarta, West Java, on the afternoon of 26 February. The event featured religious sermons deepening the significance of worship during the holy month, followed by the distribution of assistance and joint breaking of the fast.
The central office gathering was attended by the Supervisory Board, Board of Directors, and personnel from Perum Jasa Tirta II’s various units, including Regional Unit IV, the Direct Benefit Programme Management Unit (UPPML), and the Education and Training Centre. The presence of company leadership symbolised support for strengthening spiritual values in the workplace.
The subsequent Ramadan Safari activities will take place at the Regional Unit III Office in Subang on 3 March, involving Regional Units II (Karawang), III, and V (Cirebon).
The third activity is scheduled for 6 March at the Regional Unit I Office in Bekasi, to be attended by Regional Unit I, the Special Work Unit (UKK) for Regional SPAM, and Perum Jasa Tirta II’s subsidiary, PT Jasa Tirta Luhur (PT JTL). The Ramadan Safari will conclude on 11 March at the Regional Unit VI Office in Serang, involving Regional Units VI and VII (Lampung).
