Ramadan Initiative: Kosgoro 1957 Distributes 400 Meals Daily Across Greater Jakarta

Jakarta — The Central Collective Leadership (PPK) of Kosgoro 1957 has once again established a communal kitchen to share meals with the public and the underprivileged. The charitable initiative runs throughout Ramadan 1447 H/2026 through to the approach of Eid al-Fitr.

This was announced by Dave whilst overseeing the Kosgoro 1957 Communal Kitchen operations on Jalan Cipinang Cempedak II, East Jakarta.

“This is now the seventh year of the Kosgoro 1957 Communal Kitchen. Throughout Ramadan, Kosgoro 1957 will distribute 400 boxed meals across the Greater Jakarta area,” said PPK Kosgoro 1957 Chairman Dave Akbarshah Fikarno Laksono in an official statement on Saturday, 21 February 2026.

Dave explained that the kitchen has been operational since the beginning of Ramadan 1447/2026. He added that several donors have also channelled their contributions in the form of both cash and food supplies. All donations from cadres will be used entirely for the communal kitchen’s operations.

“The boxed meals provided to the public contain rice complete with side dishes, fruit, and packaged drinking water,” said the deputy chairman of House of Representatives Commission I.

He also expressed his gratitude to all parties who have assisted and contributed in any form to ensure the smooth running of the communal kitchen in sharing iftar meals with the public and the underprivileged.

“This is entirely the contribution of Kosgoro 1957 cadres for communities in need. I particularly wish to thank the cadres who have donated money, food supplies, and their labour,” he said.

On the first day of operations, the Kosgoro 1957 Communal Kitchen provided 350 boxed meals for members of the public breaking their fast together at the Golkar Party Central Executive Board Mosque.
