The momentum of Ramadan is being utilised by several companies to strengthen their social contributions to society. In addition to being a period of increased economic activity, the fasting month often serves as a time for businesses to directly share benefits with their surrounding communities.

Taking advantage of this momentum, Aquaproof is organising a series of corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities under the theme #HangatnyaRamadan. The programme includes the distribution of iftar meals in various regions and the provision of free mudik travel for informal sector workers, particularly construction labourers.

Aquaproof is a waterproof coating brand marketed by PT Adhi Cakra Utama Mulia. Chandra Kurniawan, Marketing Manager of PT Adhi Cakra Utama Mulia, stated that this activity is part of the company’s commitment to being closer to the community.

“In various moments, Aquaproof is present in the midst of society, especially during Ramadan 2026 through #HangatnyaRamadan. Aquaproof hopes to share happiness and provide direct benefits to the community, as well as strengthen the bonds of friendship between the company and its environment,” he said.

He added that the activity is expected to continue developing and providing positive contributions sustainably. “Aquaproof is not only a waterproof and anti-leak coating for buildings, but also a caring friend in every moment of life,” he continued.

The iftar meal sharing programme has become a regular agenda in recent years. However, in 2026, the scope of activities has been expanded to several cities, including Bandung, Solo, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang, Makassar, and Serang. The event took place from 9–13 March 2026, with a total of nearly 2,000 iftar meal packages distributed.

The distribution of iftar meals was conducted ahead of breaking the fast in front of building supply stores that collaborate with the company. The recipients included local communities as well as road users such as drivers and pedestrians. Despite uncertain weather conditions, the event proceeded with high enthusiasm from the public.

The participation of partner building supply stores also played an important role in implementing this programme. Yoko, owner of TB Summa, expressed her appreciation for the activity.

“Thank you to Aquaproof for sharing iftar meals with the community around TB Summa today. May Aquaproof always be successful, prosperous, and advancing. I approve of Aquaproof,” she said.

FUN MUDIK PROGRAMME

In addition to sharing iftar meals, the company also launched the Aquaproof Fun Mudik programme this Ramadan. This programme provides free mudik facilities for construction workers on routes departing from Jakarta to Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya.

The participants’ departure was scheduled for 16 March 2026 using buses prepared to ensure a safe and comfortable journey. The programme targets loyal users of the company’s products who wish to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families in their hometowns.

One of the mudik programme participants, Yatimin, admitted to being greatly helped by the initiative. “I’m very happy with this programme because the cost of going home to the village is expensive on my own. Alhamdulillah, this programme helps. I hope programmes like this continue and next year they can organise free mudik again,” he said.

Concluding the series of activities, Chandra stated that the programme is part of the company’s efforts to create a more meaningful Ramadan moment.

“Through Aquaproof Fun Mudik, we are pleased to be part of this warm moment and to escort the participants’ first steps towards home, family, and beautiful stories on the Day of Celebration,” he concluded.
