Ramadan Blessing: 500 Food Packages for the Underprivileged and Orphans

DAAZ Group has distributed humanitarian aid during the holy month of Ramadan by channelling hundreds of food packages to communities in need across various company operational locations.

The programme forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative titled “Tebar Berkah Ramadhan” (Ramadan Blessing Distribution). A total of 500 food packages were distributed to communities at several company operational sites, including Site Matarape, Site Routa, Site Weda, Site Pomala, and Jakarta.

Agus Hermawan, External Relations Manager at DAAZ Group, stated that the initiative represents the company’s commitment to society, particularly those in need during Ramadan. “The Ramadan Blessing Distribution programme focuses on assisting communities in need around our operational areas, such as the underprivileged, orphans, and widows. On the other hand, this activity aims to foster social awareness among DAAZ Group employees towards disadvantaged communities,” Agus explained.

According to Agus, the social activity is expected to provide tangible benefits to communities whilst helping alleviate their basic needs during the fasting period. He added that the programme also forms part of the company’s effort to strengthen harmonious relationships with communities surrounding its operational areas.

“Through this activity, we aim to continue fostering a spirit of togetherness and strengthening social solidarity values within society,” Agus said. The company intends to use this initiative to maintain and deepen community engagement at all operational sites.
