Ramadan 2026 Imsakiyah Schedule for the Jakarta Region, Friday 20 February 2026

Jakarta — Ramadan 1447 Hijriah has entered its second day after the government, through its isbat session, determined that the holy month this year began on Thursday 19 February 2026. One of the most important aspects of observing the fast is knowing the imsakiyah schedule.

Knowing the imsak time is essential for Muslims who will be fasting, as imsak marks the final cut-off for eating and drinking before the Subuh (dawn) prayer time begins.

Generally, imsak falls approximately 10 minutes before the Subuh call to prayer is sounded. Knowing the imsakiyah schedule helps Muslims manage their sahur (pre-dawn meal) timing, obligatory prayer times, and the prompt breaking of the fast in accordance with Islamic guidance.
