Raline Shah returns to the Cannes Film Festival 2026 through a collaboration with the Red Sea Film Foundation, Chopard, and Boucheron, attending a series of film screenings and international film-industry events during the festival. Representing Indonesia as an actress and a figure in the creative industry, Raline is involved in various international engagements as part of professional collaborations with institutions and brands that invited her. ‘It is an honour for me to return to Cannes and to be part of the various activities at one of the world’s most important film festivals. I am very grateful to be able to collaborate with the Red Sea Film Foundation, Chopard, and Boucheron during the festival,’ Raline said in a press release received on Tuesday 19 May. Among the events Raline attended were the exclusive A Rabbit’s Foot Filmmakers Dinner hosted by Charles Finch, the world premiere of The Beloved (El Ser Querido), and the South Korean science fiction thriller Hope. Raline also attended Women in Motion by Kering, one of Cannes’ most prestigious events celebrating women’s contributions to the film industry. This year, the Women in Motion award was presented to Academy Award-winning actress Julianne Moore and Italian young filmmaker Margherita Spampinato. During her stay in Cannes, Raline showcased Indonesian designer creations, wearing outfits by Sapto Djojokartiko and Jan Sober, complemented by jewellery from Chopard and Boucheron. ‘I hope this experience will also help raise the visibility of Indonesian cinema and creative talent on the international stage,’ said Raline.
