Rakernis 2026, Kakorlantas Discusses a Technological Leap to Ease the Public

Rakernis Fungsi Lantas 2026 was held at the Auditorium Mutiara STIK/PTIK Polri, South Jakarta, on Friday (22/5/2026). Attending were Wakapolri Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, Chair of Commission III of the DPR Habiburokhman and Chair of the DPR’s MKD Nazaruddin Dek Gam. Also present were Korlantas Polri stakeholders such as Jasa Marga President Director Rivan Achmad Purwantono, Jasa Raharja President Director Muhammad Awaluddin. Also present were ASDP President Director Heru Widodo, and Pelindo President Director Achmad Muchtasyar. Irjen Agus explained that this year’s Rakernis carries the theme ‘Digitalisation of Traffic Police Services to Support the Polri Precise Transformation in the Context of Realising Asta Cita’. He said his officers are fully committed to implementing the leadership’s directives in terms of organisational transformation up to public service. ‘Korlantas Polri will certainly always carry out the leadership’s directives, including organisational transformation, operational transformation, public service transformation, and supervisory transformation,’ said Irjen Agus, on Friday (22/5/2026). One of the main points highlighted by Irjen Agus is the revitalisation of public services through Satu Data Korlantas. This system will be a single data bank that synchronises various information, ranging from electronic traffic violation records (ETLE), motor vehicle registration (electronic STNK/BPKB), to driver licensing (SIM). ‘So ETLE now has ETLE handheld, ETLE drone, ETLE on board, ETLE static. Of course, this is an inevitability to realise traffic that will be more orderly and road users will comply,’ said Irjen Agus. In addition, he also hopes that the motor vehicle administrative processes in the future can be carried out by the public in a very practical way. Irjen Agus urged that the process of paying taxes can be made as easy and as quick as buying credit. ‘During our Samsat Coordination Meeting (Rakor Samsat), we expect paying taxes to be as easy as buying credit. We also hope for the Director of Lantas and colleagues to prioritise revitalisation and optimisation of public services, including SINAR and SIGNAL; this should be prioritised so as to be digital public services,’ clarified Irjen Agus. Beyond administrative services, technological leaps are also applied in road surveillance. On that occasion, Irjen Agus introduced the use of drones to support the ETLE system. Not only about law enforcement, Irjen Agus also noted that they have now changed the approach to be more humane. One of them is by embracing the community of online motorcycle taxi riders (ojol), which is currently moving toward the formation of the Komunitas Ojol Nusantara. ‘We report to the Wakapolri that 15 Polda are ready; this is almost millions of ojol we have embraced; we have conducted silaturahmi,’ said Irjen Agus. ‘Indeed, the face of Polantas today is the new face of Polantas, the Polantas face now is not about fining but about approach with heart, silaturahmi, to embrace so that road users, especially two-wheeled, can comply and be law-abiding and adhere to traffic rules by themselves because they have become friends of Polri and friends of Polantas,’ he concluded. In this event, Wakapolri Komjen Dedi Prasetyo also launched SIM Digital and ETLE drone. Rakernis Fungsi Lantas was also attended by Kakorlantas from their respective periods, including Kakorlantas 2012-2014 Irjen (Purn) Pudji Hartanto Iskandar, Kakorlantas 2019-2021 Irjen (Purn) Istiono, and Kakorlantas 2023-2025 Irjen (Purn) Aan Suhanan.
