Raising SME Supply Chain Issues, GP Ansor Chairman Earns Doctorate
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Chairman of the Central Leadership of GP Ansor, Addin Jauharudin, has earned a doctorate from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Brawijaya University (Unbraw). Addin was declared to have passed after undergoing his dissertation defence on Monday (6/4/2026). Based on a written statement received, Addin’s dissertation addressed the theme of supply chains with the title The Influence of Supply Chain Management Practices on the Business Performance of Food and Beverage SMEs: The Mediating Role of Supply Chain Performance and Market Orientation, as well as Government Moderation (An Empirical Study in East Java, Central Java, and DKI Jakarta). The study spotlights the interconnection between supply chain management and the business performance of entrepreneurs. Previously, Addin pursued his undergraduate studies at the Al-’Aqidah Institute of Islamic Religion, Jakarta, from 1998 to 2022. He then continued with master’s studies at Trisakti University from 2016 to 2018. Economic issues have long been a focus of Addin’s in-depth study. This is also reflected in several written works he has produced, including the books Menggerakkan Nahdlatut Tujjar, Aswaja Sebagai Manhajul Harokah, and Awas Digulung Arus Sejarah - Warisan Sang Pemimpin; Pikiran dan Tindakan Presiden Jokowi, published in 2023. Additionally, Addin authored Mata Rantai Cita-cita Bangsa; Peran GP Ansor dalam Mengintegrasikan Logistik Perdesaan dan Rantai Pasok Pangan, published in 2025. Beyond academic activities and writing, Addin is active in the professional world. He previously served as an Independent Commissioner at PT Garam, PT Pos Indonesia, PT Waskita Karya (Tbk), and currently holds the position of Independent Commissioner at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Tbk).
