Nantong Rainbow Offshore & Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. (ROC), a subsidiary of Jiangsu Rainbow Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (RHI), is strengthening its role in the offshore wind power equipment manufacturing industry. Backed by large-scale production capacity, an international project track record, and a global service network, ROC supports the growth of the offshore wind industry worldwide through reliable foundation solutions.

Established in 2011 in the Qidong Marine Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province, ROC has developed into one of China’s major manufacturing hubs for the offshore wind, shipbuilding, and marine engineering industries. ROC operates a production facility spanning approximately 500,000 square metres with 800 metres of Yangtze River frontage. The facility is supported by fabrication, assembly, inspection, coating, and heavy-lift logistics services, enabling ROC to efficiently produce and deliver offshore wind foundations in large volumes.

As a key business unit within RHI’s advanced equipment manufacturing segment, ROC produces a range of equipment for the offshore wind and marine engineering industries. Its portfolio includes offshore vessels, monopile foundations, jacket-type foundations, and various support structures used in offshore wind projects in both shallow and deep waters. To date, ROC has delivered nearly 800 monopile foundations and steel support structures for projects in China and international markets. ROC has also participated in the construction of several landmark projects, including the Huadian 1001, China’s first offshore wind turbine installation vessel; a 4,000-tonne heavy-lift carrier for IHC; the Huadian Wenqiang 600-tonne offshore wind installation platform; and the Dolphin 01 offshore wind operation and maintenance vessel. These projects have strengthened ROC’s experience and capability in manufacturing large-scale marine engineering equipment.

Leveraging RHI’s global manufacturing and service network, ROC is supported by five production bases and nearly 30 local service locations across six continents. Its business reach now spans more than 50 countries and regions. Through this network, ROC provides integrated services for international customers, from project support and manufacturing processes to final delivery. Looking ahead, ROC will continue to enhance its technological innovation, production capacity, and international project execution capabilities, working with global partners to support the growth of offshore wind power and accelerate the transition towards cleaner and more sustainable energy systems.
