Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of DKI Jakarta reported a landslide in Kebon Baru sub-district, Tebet, South Jakarta. Six rental housing units were affected.

“The cause was moderate rainfall and an unstable ground contour. The affected objects are six rental units,” according to BPBD Jakarta, on Friday (6 March 2026).

The landslide occurred this afternoon at 11:00 WIB. There were no fatalities.

“The rental units have been vacated by their owners for about one year. The losses amount to around Rp 100,000,000,” he explained.

BPBD said temporary retaining works using bamboo were installed at the location. BPBD urged caution for possible secondary landslides.

“The current situation at the site warrants vigilance for potential secondary landslides, given that the ground contour remains unstable,” he said.
