Jakarta - Bareskrim Polri seized billions of rupiah in cash and foreign currencies from the operational office of an international online gambling (judol) network on Jalan Hayam Wuruk in West Jakarta. “But certainly, for the rupiah, it is estimated at around Rp 1.9 billion, if I’m not mistaken,” said the Director of General Criminal Acts (Dirtipidum) of Bareskrim Polri, Brigjen Pol. Wira Satya Triputra, during a press conference at the raid location in West Jakarta on Saturday (9/5/2026). “Then the denominations include 53,820,000 Vietnamese Dong, and 10,210 dollars. That is from the seized currency denominations,” Wira added. Previously reported, 321 foreign nationals were arrested in the raid on Thursday (7/5/2026). To date, the foreign nationals remain at the raid location and are undergoing intensive examination. Investigators have seized several pieces of evidence, including safes, passports, mobile phones, laptops, personal computers, and cash in various foreign currency denominations. These foreign nationals are suspected to be from an international network, with operations running in an organised and structured manner. The perpetrators operated 75 judol domains and websites. A total of 275 individuals have been designated as suspects, while the rest are still under examination. The suspects face charges under Article 426 and/or Article 607 in conjunction with Article 20 and/or Article 21 of Law No. 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code, and/or Law No. 1 of 2026 on Criminal Adjustment.
