Raid on fire arms

From Pos Kota

Whether or not the attack against the Deputy Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly Matori Abdul Djalil has a political motive, it is a big challenge for the Police. This is so, because the earlier shooting into one of the rooms of the assembly building has not been solved.

To my mind, the Police are responsible for the safety of the community as a whole, including the common people. The Police should provide due protection to the public, instead of only providing special security guards to high ranking officials or arming them with fire arms. It should be noted that people now can easily get fire arms.

My suggestion is that the Police should conduct regular raids so that criminal activities with fire arms can be curbed more effectively.
