Rai Sanjaya Leads 'Move and Share' Social Action in Baturiti and Marga
Chair of the Tabanan Family Welfare Empowerment Team (TP PKK), Rai Wahyuni Sanjaya, has once again demonstrated a social movement that touches the community. Rai Sanjaya led the TP PKK Tabanan’s ‘Move and Share’ action through a roadshow in Baturiti and Marga sub-districts on Wednesday (29/4/2026).
The first activity involved a home renovation in Banjar Mandul, Luwus Village, Baturiti Sub-district, for recipient I Made Diana Putra. This was followed by an activity at Wisma PLN in Candikuning Village, Baturiti Sub-district, combined with the move and share social action.
The second activity saw Rai Sanjaya providing home renovation assistance to Ni Nyoman Kartika in Banjar Periga Kangin, Petiga Village, Marga Sub-district, and to Ni Nyoman Garmini in Banjar Lebah, Marga Village. Subsequently, the social action of reaching out and sharing was centred at Wantilan Desa Marga Dajan Puri. Both activities were combined with socialisation of the environmental action movement for creating biopore holes.
Not only that, Rai Sanjaya also went directly to residents’ homes to provide simulations on making biopore holes as a solution for household-based waste processing. In that activity,
Each sub-district in the event received 150 biopore hole-making tools to support the sustainable environmental programme. The community is expected to independently manage organic household waste, reduce the volume of waste disposed to landfills, and increase awareness of the importance of preserving the environment.
In addition, move and share social assistance in Baturiti Sub-district was given to 15 people with disabilities, 6 cancer patients, 10 pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency (KEK), 20 elderly people, 15 underweight toddlers, 60 low-income PKK cadres, 1 recipient of room rehabilitation for people with mental disorders (ODGJ), as well as 2 hearing aids and 2 wheelchairs, and supplementary feeding for PAUD children.
Meanwhile, in Marga Sub-district, assistance was given to 15 people with disabilities, 6 cancer patients, 10 pregnant women with KEK, 20 elderly people, 15 underweight toddlers, and 80 low-income PKK cadres, 2 recipients of ODGJ room rehabilitation, 4 tripods, 1 walker, and 1 wheelchair.
The types of assistance provided consisted of basic needs and nutritional packages, namely 20 kg of rice, 3 boxes of calcium milk, 3 boxes of toddler milk, 3 boxes of pregnant women’s milk, 5 kg of eggs, 3 kg of mung beans, as well as cooking oil, as a form of attention to fulfilling the community’s basic needs.
‘I want us to always meet face-to-face and not be disconnected; we continue to maintain ties with the community. My presence today is to provide support and assistance that is truly felt,’ said Rai Sanjaya during the event.
Rai Sanjaya emphasised the importance of programme synergy to reach wider areas, ensuring that the benefits of the programmes can be felt evenly by all levels of society. She also hopes that collaboration between the government, communities, and residents will continue to be strengthened so that environmental conservation efforts can run more effectively, sustainably, and provide long-term positive impacts.
‘I synergise all these activities so that they can touch more of the community, while also connecting programmes from the Governor’s Mother. My hope is that everyone receives equal attention,’ Rai Sanjaya stressed.
As the Tabanan PADAS (Kedas Hamlet Envoy), Rai Sanjaya also socialised source-based waste management. This aims to increase community awareness and active roles in sorting and managing waste from the source, thereby reducing the burden of processing at the final stage. In addition, this step is expected to create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment, while supporting the success of the PADAS programme in Tabanan.
‘Waste management must start from households; biopores are not only for water infiltration but also for processing organic waste,’ she explained.
The environmental programme is also linked to strengthening the Aku Hatinya PKK programme, which is being intensified ahead of the 54th PKK Anniversary in 2026. Through this programme, the community is invited to utilise home yards as productive food sources to support family food security and economic improvement.
In addition, Rai Sanjaya socialised a karaoke competition among village TP PKK chairs as part of the HKG celebrations. She also conveyed the importance of the role of Posyandu 6 SPM, of which 832 posyandus have now been established in Tabanan.
She hopes that all posyandus can function optimally as a bridge for the community in conveying various problems in the fields of social affairs, education, public works, people’s housing, public order, community protection, and health.
Through actions that touch all aspects of community life, Rai Sanjaya strongly emphasised that PKK should not just be a movement, but a real force that is present, works, and directly impacts the welfare of Tabanan society.
