Rahayu Saraswati Visits IKN, Expresses Optimism for Nusantara's Future

Deputy Chair of Commission VII of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, visited the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) on Friday, 10 July. Rahayu expressed optimism that the development of IKN, which prioritises a modern and green concept while showcasing Indonesia’s identity, will transform Nusantara into a centre for various international activities and a source of pride for all Indonesians. In a separate incident, a massive fire accompanied by explosions struck a popular nightclub in Bangkok, Thailand, on Sunday evening, 12 July. The incident, which occurred while the venue was crowded with patrons, resulted in the deaths of at least 27 people.
