In the past two weeks some people have come to our building bringing along with them a "Prize Winner" notification purportedly sent by PT Van Melle Indonesia (for "Tour to Rome, Italy" prize) and also from PT Sayap Mas Utama Indonesia (for "ONH Plus Haj Pilgrimage Package" prize).

After we tried to contact the companies concerned, we found out that some people had used the name of our building, Menara Imperium (Imperium Tower), for swindling purposes, but unfortunately they have put down the wrong address: Jl. HR Rasuna Said Kav 5, South Jakarta, Tel No. 835-6303. Our correct address has a different telephone number and a different number for the plot.

These irresponsible people have also put down the names of contact persons: Mr. Tri Irwandi, SH (cell phone No. 08161378268) for the Prize from Mentos (PT Van Melle Indonesia) and Mr. H. Imran Ashari, SH ( cell phone No. 08161378268) for the prize from PT Sayap Mas Utama Indonesia.

We wish to emphasize that these so-called prizes are actually a swindle. The two companies referred to above have never had a representative office at Menara Imperium. We hope that anybody receiving a similar letter will first check whether or not the letter is valid so that they do not need to come to Jakarta for nothing (some recipients came from, among others places, Kediri, Pekalongan, Lampung, Banjarmasin, Sumbawa, Aceh, Kendari).

We have also reported this matter to the authorities because it is disadvantageous to our image and disturbs our daily activities.
