Radisson sets expansion
JAKARTA (JP): The Radisson Bukit Indah, a four-star hotel in Purwakarta, West Java, has started its expansion project.
The hotel said yesterday the expansion, launched just seven months after the hotel's soft opening, would include an extra 85 rooms and suites at a cost of US$3 million.
"Already due for completion in late May is the top floor of the hotel which will add an additional 29 rooms to the 73 currently available. The additional room block will be completed in early October."
The hotel, owned by the Salim group and managed by Radisson, will have 187 rooms.
Radisson, a subsidiary of U.S. firm Carlson Hospitality Worldwide, runs 350 hotels in more than 40 nations. Salim also owns the Radisson hotels in Surabaya, Yogyakarta and Bali. (icn)
