Aliyah Rizq Holdings Pte Ltd is expanding its role in developing the modern Qurban and livestock industry through the Asia Mega Qurban 2026 initiative, implemented alongside its Desaru-based subsidiary Aliyah Rizq Farm Sdn Bhd in Johor.

The cross-border initiative integrates Qurban rituals with livestock sector strengthening, community empowerment, and regional industry collaboration ahead of Eid al-Adha.

This year’s Asia Mega Qurban covers Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, focusing on developing more modern, structured, and sustainable Qurban operational systems.

A Live Qurban Worship event will be held at Masjid Al-Syifa in Bandar Penawar, Johor, on 27 May 2026, featuring direct operational coordination with strategic stakeholders.

CEO Ashraf Bakar stated the programme is not only about the number of Qurban executions but also building a more independent livestock industry foundation in ASEAN.

‘Initial discussions with several Malaysian livestock owners have shown very positive developments. They see significant potential in building a more structured supply chain with Aliyah Rizq, particularly to support large-scale Qurban operations next year,’ Bakar said.

He believes the collaboration will open wider opportunities for local livestock farmers to enter the increasingly competitive regional industry ecosystem.

Additionally, Aliyah Rizq received recognition from ASEAN Records and ASIA Records for conducting simultaneous cross-border Qurban within 24 hours.

The initiative recorded a total of 5,623 Qurban animals ordered, processed, and distributed across 11 countries. The award, presented on 27 May 2026, symbolises the modernisation of the agricultural sector through more professional and integrated approaches.

To ensure smooth implementation, Aliyah Rizq collaborates with various Johor government agencies, religious institutions, security forces, and local authorities involved in logistics, operations, and animal welfare.

The event also attracted industry representatives, strategic partners, media, and guests from multiple countries. (I-3)
