Queue Stand-ins Offer Shortcuts for Urban Residents...
In a city that moves without pause, time is slowly becoming something precious. Amid the density of activities, long queues are no longer just a routine, but a burden people want to avoid. From that gap emerges the queue stand-in service, offering a shortcut amid time constraints, while also mirroring changes in urban society’s lifestyle. Founder of Antriin.id, Elan Setiawan, has directly seen how queues can consume hours of time. Drawing from that experience, he has introduced a solution. An app that connects people with no time to those who want to earn extra income. “For example, extra money in their free time with customers who don’t have much time to spend in a queue,” he said. Since its introduction in August 2025, Antriin.id has developed with a simple approach: substituting physical presence in queues. “Antriin physical is more flexible, it can be for food, hospitals, viral spots… ticket exchanges, concerts,” said Elan. Meanwhile, the caregiver service is focused on medical needs. “The caregiver one is more for hospitals specifically, partners will accompany and stay with you from registration to medication redemption,” he said. For some people, this service feels like an instant answer. Linda (25), for example, chose to use the queuing service to get a viral product without having to stand for long.
