Questioned in PT DSI Case, Dude Harlino and Alyssa Soebandono Face 53 Questions
The celebrity couple Dude Harlino and his wife Alyssa Soebandono complied with a summons from Bareskrim Polri investigators regarding the alleged fraud and embezzlement case at PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (DSI). Both were examined as witnesses and faced a total of 53 questions.
“We were examined starting from 11:00 WIB. For Mas Dude, there were 32 questions, and for mbak (Alyssa), there were 21 questions,” said their lawyer, Muhammad Al Ayubi Harahap, at Bareskrim Polri in South Jakarta on Thursday (2/4/2026).
Ayubi stated that his clients’ presence was a form of support for the ongoing law enforcement process. He emphasised that their roles were limited to those of external parties working professionally.
“The questions revolved around their job descriptions at PT DSI as brand ambassadors. What their work entailed—well, it was explained that their work was professional, a working relationship, and proportionate,” Ayubi revealed.
Meanwhile, Dude Harlino stated that he and his wife attended in the capacity of witnesses. They had provided statements regarding their roles as brand ambassadors.
“So the investigators wanted to know in more depth what the duties as brand ambassadors entailed. Indeed, we have no connection to internal management or anything like that; it was purely professional as brand ambassadors,” Dude explained.
He assured that the cooperation with PT DSI was carried out through an annual contract that was periodically renewed. All working relationships, he continued, had been executed in accordance with the agreements outlined in the contract.
During the examination, investigators also asked about the value of the cooperation between Dude and Alyssa with PT DSI. However, Dude said the amount was a trade secret that was only conveyed to the investigators.
“The amount of the cooperation has already been conveyed to the Bareskrim side,” he confirmed.
Regarding the end of the contract, Dude revealed that the cooperation with PT DSI was indeed agreed to end in August 2025. Therefore, he now has no further relationship with PT DSI.
Furthermore, he emphasised that from the beginning, they had prioritised caution before entering into the cooperation. This included ensuring the company’s legality.
“So before signing the contract, we had actually checked everything from the Financial Services Authority (OJK); there was a licence, supervision, a Sharia Supervisory Board, and so on,” Dude stated.
“But it turns out this happened anyway. So now we are in the position of supporting law enforcement,” he added.
Nevertheless, Dude reaffirmed his position as supporting the legal process by providing statements as a witness.
“If we continue to provide support, hopefully this case can be resolved and the lenders’ funds can be fully returned to those entitled,” Dude concluded.
