Queried by the Exchange on Share Price, Koka Indonesia (KOKA) Speaks Out
PT Koka Indonesia Tbk. (KOKA) has spoken out regarding the recent volatile movement of its share price. Management has stressed that there is no material information or facts that have not been disclosed to the public which could affect the share price or the investment decisions of investors.
This explanation was conveyed by the company through letter number 016.0011/CS/KOKA-IND/VII/2026 dated 24 July 2026, in response to a request for explanation from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) No. S-08733/BEI.PP1/07-2026 dated 22 July 2026 concerning the volatility of the company’s securities transactions.
Corporate Secretary & Legal of Koka Indonesia, Muhammad Fikri Adzkiya, explained that the increase in the company’s share price was caused by optimistic market sentiment among investors regarding the entry of new shareholders. The company stated that the entire series of transactions had been disclosed in a timely manner in accordance with applicable regulations, starting from the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 16 September 2025, the signing of a Conditional Sale and Purchase Agreement (CSPA) on 6 March 2026, to the signing of a Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) on 17 July 2026.
“As of the date of this letter, there is no material information or material facts that have not been disclosed which could affect the share price or influence the investment decisions of investors,” management wrote in its letter.
Regarding share ownership activity, the company stated that it had sent three share ownership reports to the authorities and the public on 20 July 2026, namely the share ownership reports of Ling Sun, PT Kreatif Konstruksi Indonesia, and Jinfeng Gao. All three are follow-ups to the information disclosure related to the signing of the SPA on 17 July 2026.
The company also confirmed that it has no plans for any corporate actions in the next three months that could potentially impact the status of its share listing on the exchange. Meanwhile, regarding the plans of the major and controlling shareholders, management stated that information disclosure concerning the planned change in share ownership by the controlling shareholder after the lock-up period has been officially submitted to the authorities and the public. The company is committed to immediately disclosing to the public if a change in share ownership occurs in the future.
