Quality of drinking water declines

For the past few months the quality of drinking water produced
by the Jakarta Administration's water utility in cooperation with
Lyonnais (a foreign company) has been highly unsatisfactory. The
water is turbid, and the pressure is poor. But, sadly, the bills
keep increasing. In fact, the company has increased the price
twice this year, yet the quality of the water remains poor.

It is not even suitable for brushing your teeth, nor for
bathing, let alone for drinking. So, I have to use the shower. It
appears that consumers have no rights whatsoever in these
circumstances!

I hope the drinking water utility will be responsive enough to
listen to the public's concerns and do its best to improve the
quality of the water it provides.
