Quadra and Roman Present Innovation at Keramika 2026 to Prove the Independence of the Domestic Ceramic Industry
As a pioneer in the sintered stone big slab industry in Indonesia, Quadra once again achieved a proud milestone by breaking the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI) record for the Longest Seamless Sintered Stone Table at the Keramika 2026 event on Friday (5/6). This achievement proves Quadra’s excellence in combining local manufacturing technology and international-standard craftsmanship to support modern architectural and interior trends. This MURI record adds to Quadra’s list of achievements in 2026, following its earlier success in receiving the Asia Pacific Property Awards for Best Retail Architecture Indonesia for the innovative design of the Quadra Gallery Signature Bali. “With manufacturing technology innovation at the Quadra factory, selected natural materials are compacted to reach an optimal level and near-zero water absorption to create a super-large slab with perfect structural consistency. This is the result—a 5-metre sintered stone table without seams,” said Quadra & Roman Leader, Willie Low. Willie stated the manufacturing process for the 5-metre sintered stone table uses Sacmi Continua+ technology. This is Italian technology that has several advantages, such as being nearly non-porous, scratch-resistant, stain-resistant, and heat-resistant. MURI Deputy Chief Director Omar Semesta Susilo said the MURI record award to Quadra is a form of appreciation for the work and innovation of the nation’s children in the economic and industrial sectors. “The sintered stone table that was successfully recorded as a record is a domestic product, with the entire manufacturing process carried out at a production facility in Indonesia. MURI hopes that this record will foster the spirit, creativity and innovation of the nation’s children,” said Osmar. Chairman of the Indonesian Ceramic Industry Association (ASAKI), Edy Suyanto, appreciated the MURI record achieved by Quadra. This monumental achievement is concrete proof that the local industry is increasingly competitive and capable of competing in the international market. “Congratulations to Quadra on the proud MURI achievement. This award is clear evidence of technological innovation and the quality of Quadra products, which are on par with premium products from Europe, particularly Italy and the United States. Be proud and always be at the forefront,” said Edy. Through its participation in the Keramika 2026 event, Quadra also showcased its latest product innovation, Quadra exential, which comes in three sizes: 100cm x 100cm, 120cm x 60cm, and 80cm x 80cm. This variety of sizes provides flexibility in the design and application process, especially for rooms with more compact dimensions, while supporting more efficient and precise installation. In addition, Quadra also presented a sintered stone slab innovation with a thickness of 6mm designed to answer the needs of modern architecture for lightweight, strong and flexible materials in its application. With the tile-on-tile installation method, this product allows installation without burdening the structure, making it ideal for application on walls, pivot doors, cabinet cladding, and even elevator room floors. Complementing the group’s innovation portfolio, Roman also presented mosaics, a product line produced directly by combining the precision of modern technology, Indonesia’s natural wealth, and detailed artistic touches. The presence of mosaics is part of the company’s commitment to encouraging the development of the local creative industry through high-value innovation. “The various innovations we present, from the 5-metre seamless table, the sintered stone collection with a 6mm thickness, to the mosaic collection, are a manifestation of our commitment to prove that the local industry is capable of presenting products with global quality standards. In these innovations, we want to show that the domestic industry has the ability to continue to drive new exploration in interior and architectural design,” said Willie. These product innovations can be seen at the Keramika 2026 exhibition on 4-7 June 2026 at Nusantara International Convention Exhibition NICE 2, PIK.
