Qodari: The President Asked Me to Assist in the Communication Process
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Head of the Presidential Staff Office, Muhammad Qodari, was observed arriving at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday (27/4/2026). According to observations by CNBC Indonesia, Qodari was dressed in a suit and black peci cap, along with a light blue tie. To reporters, Qodari admitted that he had been contacted by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya to attend. “The President asked me to help with the communication process, to communicate maximally for the government’s work programmes, the background of which is our national objectives,” he said. Those four national objectives are to protect the entire Indonesian nation, to advance general welfare, to enlighten the nation’s life, and to participate in maintaining world order. “So the programmes are explained, their background, and communicated maximally,” Qodari stated. Regarding his position, he asked the media to wait for the announcement from President Prabowo Subianto. “But up to now, the communication is handled by the Government Communication Agency,” Qodari said. “Precisely, we wait for the President because it is the President’s prerogative,” he added when asked if he would become the head of Bakom.
