Qodari Reveals PM Modi's Story Calling Prabowo a Friend Without Barriers
Head of the Government Communication Body (Bakom) Muhammad Qodari has revealed a story about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi describing President Prabowo Subianto as a friend without barriers. “PM Modi said this: ‘My friendship with Mr Prabowo exceeds the boundaries of copyright barriers,’” Qodari stated during the Bisnis Indonesia Forum event in Jakarta on Wednesday. Qodari disclosed that the profound acknowledgement from the Indian PM serves as proof of the strong personal closeness successfully built by President Prabowo. According to him, the diplomatic skills possessed by President Prabowo are extraordinary in dismantling bureaucratic barriers among world leaders. He expressed regret that some parties domestically still do not fully understand the effectiveness of the personal approach style employed by the President. This fluid communication pattern has proven capable of positioning Indonesia on the global stage. Qodari said the positive response and deep respect for President Prabowo’s figure did not only come from India. A number of leaders from other countries have also openly shown a similar attitude of closeness. “And it’s not just PM Narendra Modi who said that. Donald Trump also said it, ‘This is my friend’. Mr Putin as well. Macron too,” Qodari remarked. He stressed that the entire international network tightly woven by President Prabowo is not merely for ceremonial purposes. All these foreign diplomatic manoeuvres are assuredly aimed at fulfilling the real needs of the people domestically. One concrete proof of utilising these high-level diplomatic relations, Qodari continued, is projected to secure the national energy sector. “Russia’s daily production is around 11 or 12 million barrels. Its own needs are only 5 million. So if we take just 1 million, we are secure,” Qodari stated. He explained that when conflict occurs in the Middle East and the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s oil distribution routes, is closed, President Prabowo moved tactically to address the domestic fuel oil supply deficit reaching one million barrels per day through his closeness with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
