Qodari: 'President Solution' Documents Prabowo's Decisions and Performance
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the Government Communications Agency (Bakom), Muhammad Qodari, stated that the book ‘President Solution: Problem Solving Ala Prabowo Subianto’ contains various decisions and policies made by President Prabowo Subianto to address diverse national issues during approximately 18 months of his administration. Qodari explained that the book was compiled as an effort to document the various problems faced by the public and the solutions implemented by President Prabowo through various government programmes and policies.
“President Prabowo looks at these issues not just on the surface, but down to a very fundamental level, including problems that may have been ignored or even invisible to some people. These problems and their solutions over the past one and a half years, we feel, need to be recorded and made known to the public,” said Qodari following the launch of the ‘President Solution’ book in Jakarta on Monday.
According to Qodari, the preparation of the book was carried out through cooperation between Bakom and the presidential team, which has been processing data and information to identify various developing issues within society. He explained that the book was titled ‘President Solution’ because it contains various government responses to challenges in education, health, economy, agriculture, fisheries, and other sectors.
Qodari emphasised that the various solutions recorded in the book are not merely plans, but programmes that have already been implemented by the government. He cited achievements such as rice self-sufficiency, the implementation of ‘Sekolah Rakyat’ (People’s School) for children from poor families, and the development of fishing villages in various regions.
Meanwhile, the Special Assistant to the President for Communication and Policy Analysis, Dirgayuza Setiawan, stated that the ‘President Solution’ book records the decision-making processes that have been occurring behind the scenes of the government and are not widely known to the public. “We are attempting to record them in writing because we feel we have a historical obligation to record history in the making,” explained Dirgayuza.
According to Dirgayuza, the book is written in a popular format to ensure easier access for the public. This is considered important because much information regarding government policy is difficult to fully comprehend due to the limited information space on social media. “We chose this book format so it can be more easily accessed, providing a popular reference for the general public who wish to understand or debate the President’s policies,” he added.
The book records 108 problems resolved by President Prabowo Subianto within an 18-month period. These 108 issues are divided into 13 major themes, including food, energy and natural resources, health, education, downstreaming and industrialisation, infrastructure, housing and disaster resilience, as well as community economy and rural development. Furthermore, themes include poverty reduction, defence and security, law enforcement, governance and management of state wealth, digitalisation, and diplomacy and international relations.
