Qodari et al. Publish 'President Solution' Book, Reviewing 108 Prabowo-style Solutions
Muhammad Qodari, Dirgayuza Setiawan, and Agung Gumilar Saputra released the book titled ‘President Solution: Problem Solving Ala Prabowo Subianto’ on Monday (8/6). Dirgayu Malaysia, who serves as the Special Assistant to the President for Communication and Policy Analysis, stated that the book contains 108 solutions implemented by President Prabowo Subianto during his first 18 months in office.
He explained that the book was created to address circulating allegations that Prabowo is unaware of the real-world problems faced by the public. “We see that is untrue; the reality is that the President does not wish to speak ill of others. He does not want to cause public anxiety,” he said during a discussion in South Jakarta. He added that whenever discussing sensitive issues, the President often requests the media to leave the room, a practice observed in many cabinet meetings.
Consequently, Dirgayuza, alongside Qodari from the Government Communication Body and Agung Gumilar, the Special Assistant for Strategic Data Analysis, attempted to summarise the various solutions undertaken by Prabowo over the last 18 months. He noted that the book launch also serves to remind the public of the achievements of the Prabowo-Gibran administration during their first 1.5 years. “We have tried to present this as simply as possible in this book. This is not a typical public policy book filled with theories; it directly addresses the problems and the President’s solutions,” he explained.
During the event, Qodari highlighted several solutions implemented by Prabowo, particularly regarding the fundamental issue of natural resource management. Qodari noted that early in his term, Prabowo took bold steps to return the management of natural resources to the state for the prosperity of the people. He stated that Prabowo intends to correct practices where mining and plantation lands are enjoyed by only a few individuals, where management involves borrowing from state banks, and where foreign exchange from sales ends up abroad rather than in Indonesia.
Furthermore, the book addresses criminal practices such as under-invoicing and transfer pricing often employed by rogue companies in the natural resources sector. As a solution, the formation of PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI) was initiated to manage all natural wealth and prevent such practices in the future. “The goal is to increase revenue for the nation and state, ensuring the funds are used for the greatest prosperity of the people,” Qodari said. He added that the administration is focused on solving fundamental national issues, including food security, energy security, and supporting the underprivileged through improved education and school facilities.
