Q1 2026 Investment Realisation Reaches Rp 498.8 Trillion, Up 7.2% - IKPI
The government recorded an investment realisation of Rp 498.8 trillion in the first quarter of 2026. This figure grew by approximately 7.2% compared to the same period in the previous year (year-on-year).
Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani stated that this achievement has met around 24.4% of the national investment target for 2026.
“If we look at it, the most important thing is that this (realisation) is approximately 24.4% of the 2026 investment target,” Rosan said during a press conference on Thursday (23/4).
From the employment perspective, this investment realisation also absorbed 706,569 workers. This number increased by 18.9% compared to the same period last year.
Furthermore, Rosan explained that the contributions between foreign investment (PMA) and domestic investment (PMDN) were relatively balanced.
PMA was slightly higher with a contribution of 50.1% or around Rp 250 trillion, while PMDN reached Rp 248.8 trillion.
“If we look at it, foreign investment indeed increased by 8.5% and domestic by 6.0%,” he said.
In terms of regions, the investment distribution between Java and outside Java was also quite even. Investment in Java was recorded at Rp 247.5 trillion or 49.6%, while outside Java reached Rp 251.3 trillion.
The government views this achievement as a positive indicator for the national investment climate, while strengthening efforts for equitable development in various regions.
