Q1 2026 Investment Realisation Reaches Rp 498.8 Trillion, Creating 706 Thousand Jobs

JAKARTA – Indonesia continues to record outstanding achievements in the investment sector, with the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) announcing that investment realisation for the first quarter of 2026 has reached a fantastic figure of Rp 498.8 trillion. This figure indicates a significant increase of 7.2% compared to the same period last year, Q1 2025. Even compared to Q4 2025, this investment achievement experienced a 0.4% rise. Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM, Rosal Perkasa Roeslani, during a press conference held on Thursday (23/4) in Jakarta, revealed that this achievement is not just a large number but also contributes to job creation. The Q1 2026 investment realisation has successfully absorbed 706,569 workers, a leap that reflects significant annual growth of 18.9%.
