Q1 2026 Investment Realisation Reaches Rp 498.8 Trillion
Investment and Downstreaming Minister/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani announced that investment realisation in the first quarter of 2026 reached Rp 498.8 trillion. This achievement grew by 7.2 percent compared to the same period last year and is equivalent to 24.4 percent of the 2026 national investment target of Rp 2,041.3 trillion.
“Amidst geopolitical and global economic dynamics, investment realisation during the first quarter of 2026 reached Rp 498.8 trillion. This figure grew by approximately 7.2 percent, or 24.4 percent of the total target for 2026,” said Rosan Roeslani during a working meeting with Commission XII of the House of Representatives at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Monday, 15 June 2026.
According to Rosan Roeslani, the investment realisation also directly absorbed around 700,000 workers. This number increased by 18.9 percent compared to the same period the previous year and does not yet include indirect employment created from investment support activities.
Based on data presented at the meeting, investment realisation in Q1 2026 reached Rp 498.8 trillion, up from Rp 465.2 trillion in the same period last year. On an annual basis (year-on-year/yoy), growth reached 7.2 percent. Meanwhile, on a quarterly basis (quarter-to-quarter/qoq), investment realisation increased by 0.4 percent compared to Q4 2025, which was Rp 496.9 trillion.
This achievement contributed to the absorption of 706,569 Indonesian workers, an increase of 18.9 percent compared to Q1 2025. In terms of investment sources, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) remained the largest contributor with a value of Rp 250 trillion, or 50.1 percent of total investment. FDI value grew 8.5 percent annually. Meanwhile, Domestic Direct Investment (DDI) reached Rp 248.8 trillion, or 49.9 percent of total investment, increasing by 6 percent compared to the same period last year.
By region, investment outside Java Island again dominated with a share of 50.4 percent, valued at Rp 251.3 trillion. This value grew by 6.5 percent compared to Q1 2025. Meanwhile, investment in Java reached Rp 247.5 trillion, or 49.6 percent of total national investment realisation, increasing by 7.9 percent annually.
