PZZA Expands into Yoghurt Business, Acquires 52 Percent Stake in HAY
PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk. (PZZA) is expanding its business portfolio. The operator of Pizza Hut outlets in Indonesia has officially acquired a 52 percent stake in PT Halal Artisan Yummies (HAY). In an information disclosure cited on Thursday (25/6), PZZA injected Rp10.4 billion in capital into HAY on 24 June 2026. This corporate action makes PZZA the controlling shareholder of HAY. HAY’s main business activities are in the provision of accommodation and food and beverage services. The primary product of PT Halal Artisan Yummies (HAY) is Hayo Frozen Yoghurt. “This transaction is expected to provide an additional contribution to the company’s future revenue growth and strengthen PZZA’s position in the Food and Beverage industry,” wrote PZZA management. The investment value of Rp10.4 billion is equivalent to 1.01 percent of PZZA’s total equity in 2025 of Rp1.03 trillion, meaning it is not classified as a material transaction. The transaction is considered an affiliated transaction because Boy Ardhitya Lukito serves as President Director of PZZA as well as President Commissioner of HAY.
