PT Inpac Solutions Indo has brought in supervisors for the pyrolysis waste processing machine from the Cook Islands at the Local Waste Processing Site (TOSS) Centre in Karangdadi, Klungkung, Bali. In addition to monitoring the machine assembly, the supervisors are also teaching local technicians to accelerate the installation process.

Observations at the TOSS Centre in Karangdadi revealed two supervisors from the Pacific nation monitoring the construction of a cooling pond next to the pyrolysis machine building. They were also seen inspecting several machine components under assembly.

Director of PT Inpac Solutions Indo, Anak Agung Pablo Subamia, explained that the arrival of the team from the Cook Islands serves as a guarantee for the long-term independent operation of the machine. The experts from the Andersons Group manufacturer are tasked with monitoring the detailed assembly of the pyrolysis machine.

“So they are supervisors, monitoring the assembly process while teaching the local technicians so that they can subsequently carry out the installation themselves,” Agung clarified.

Through this close supervision, local technicians in Klungkung are expected to absorb knowledge on operation and maintenance, enabling the residue processing machine to be fully handled by local resources independently in the future.

The first trial is scheduled in the near future. According to Agung, the initial stage will test one machine. The full process is expected to take around 30 to 40 days.

“In about a week, we will try feeding waste into one machine, and for the entire setup, we target 30 to 40 days ahead,” he explained.

At the same location, the Head of the Environmental and Land Agency (DLHP) of Klungkung Regency, Dewa Komang Aswin, explained that the machine’s operational schedule has shifted from the initial plan due to additional physical work.

The local government must complete the construction of supporting infrastructure next to the main building, namely the cooling tower facility along with its cooling pond. The Klungkung DLH is currently rushing to finish the remaining physical project to ensure the final setup with the supervisor team runs smoothly.

“Some of these additional requirements are now in process, and we can assure that it will operate soon. It is likely that by June, it will already be operational,” Aswin stated.

It was explained that the massive capacity of this new pyrolysis machine is designed to support the destruction of waste residues from each village. His side is optimistic that by July, all waste residues at the TOSS Centre can be managed completely.
