Jakarta — The Chairman of PWI Pusat, Akhmad Munir, appointed Marthen Selamet Susanto as Secretary General, replacing Zulmansyah Sekedang, who had died some time ago. “The changes to the management structure are being made to ensure the organisation’s operations run optimally and to safeguard the continuity of PWI Pusat’s programmes,” Munir said in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday. Munir hopes that the new leadership arrangement will strengthen the organisation’s consolidation and continue the service and spirit handed down by the late Zulmansyah Sekedang to PWI and the national press. He added that PWI Pusat had made the daily management adjustments through PWI Pusat Decree Number 081-PLP/PP-PWI/V/2026 dated 18 May 2026. “To support treasury duties, Badar Subur was appointed as Deputy General Treasurer I and Herlina as Deputy General Treasurer II,” Munir said. He noted that, in addition to the change of Secretary General and General Treasurer, PWI Pusat had also carried out several repositionings within the daily management line-up. The Organisation and Membership Division remains led by Zulkifli Gani Ottoh with Djoko Tetuko Abdul Latif as Deputy Chairman. The Regional Development Division remains chaired by Mirza Zulhadi, with Deputy Chairmen Novrizon Burman and Sarjono. In the Education Division, Agus Sudibyo remains Chairman, assisted by Zarman Syah and now by Iskandar Zulkarnain. The Defence and Legal Affairs Division is chaired by Anrico Pasaribu and is now assisted by Baren Antoni Siagian and Jimmy Endey as deputy chairmen. The Foreign Relations Division is led by Irfan Junaidi with Aldi Gultom as deputy chairman. For the Multimedia and IT Division, Hilman Hidayat remains its chair, with Merdi Sofansyah and Agus Salim Alwi Hamu as deputy chairmen. The Media and Broadcasting Division remains chaired by Auri Jaya, with Danang Sanggabuana and Dede Apriadi as deputy chairmen. In the Asset Management Division, Endang Werdiningsih serves as chair with Hari Wibowo and Rabiatun Drakel as deputies.
