Indonesia’s badminton team has completed a three-day acclimatisation programme in Milton Keynes, England, as preparation for the prestigious All England 2026 tournament.

In this BWF World Tour Super 1000 event, Indonesia’s leading women’s singles player, Putri Kusuma Wardani, is confirmed as the sole Indonesian representative in the women’s singles category set to compete at Utilita Arena, Birmingham.

Regarding her adaptation to conditions in Britain, Putri Kusuma Wardani stated that the process of adjusting to the weather and environment has proceeded without significant obstacles. Although requiring some time on the first day, the world number six player now feels considerably more prepared physically and mentally ahead of the tournament schedule commencing on 3–8 March 2026.

During the training camp at the National Badminton Centre, the coaching staff’s primary focus was refining playing patterns based on the profiles of opponents to be faced.

“So far, thank goodness there have been no problems whatsoever; everyone is healthy,” said Putri in an official PBSI statement following the final training session on Saturday, 28 February 2026.

“Like most places in Europe, perhaps only the first few days involved some adjustment, but from yesterday until today it has been quite good.”

“Training here has focused more on how to play because we already know who our opponent is in the first round.”

“So the coach is more focused on anticipating the opponent’s strengths and what we need to do,” Putri explained.

A tough test awaits in the first round, where Putri is scheduled to face Denmark’s Mia Blichfeldt.

Responding to this challenge, Putri chose to remain calm and maintain emotional stability.

“I am very excited to be back at the All England, but I must not be excessive because that is not helpful,” said Putri.

“So far I am more focused on managing my thoughts and mood, making myself as comfortable as possible. Then I focus on learning from the opponent’s strengths and weaknesses,” she added.
