Putri Adies Kadir, Adela Kanasya Adies, Officially Inaugurated as DPR Member for 2024-2029

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The DPR has inaugurated Adela Kanasya Adies, daughter of the late former Deputy Speaker of the DPR Adies Kadir, as a member of the DPR for the remaining term of 2024-2029.

“I swear by Allah that I will fulfil my obligations as a member of the House of Representatives to the best of my ability and as justly as possible in accordance with the prevailing laws and legislation, guided by Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Adela, reading the oath guided by Puan.

The replacement ceremony (PAW) was attended by several DPR leaders, including Puan Maharani, Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, and Saan Mustopa.

Adela Kanasya Adies is a cadre of the Golkar Party. She is running to represent the East Java I electoral district (dapil).

Adela received the second-highest number of votes in the East Java I dapil, thus automatically replacing Adies Kadir.
