Putin Holds Talks with North Korean Foreign Minister

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday held a meeting with North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui, who is visiting Russia, the Kremlin said. “Putin praised the bilateral relations between Russia and the DPRK,” said Russian government spokesman Dmitry Peskov. He said Putin took the opportunity to once again express gratitude to the leadership and people of the DPRK for their support during the special military operation. “Putin conveyed his warm greetings to DPRK leader Kim Jong Un,” Peskov said, adding that the North Korean foreign minister expressed thanks for the warm words and said that Kim Jong Un had recently reaffirmed his commitment to comprehensively advancing DPRK relations with Russia. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov also attended the meeting.
